Dr. Zijun Zhao

Research Fellow, University of Western Australia, Australia.

Dr. Zijun Zhao is a researcher in quantum technologies, with a focus on probing fundamental physics and investigating dark matter. Her current work aims to uncover new physics through precision measurements of crystals in cryogenic environments. Dr. Zhao is also exploring the application of quantum technologies within renewable energy.

Based at the University of Western Australia node, Dr. Zhao collaborates with CI Professor Michael Tobar in the Quantum Technologies and Dark Matter Lab. She completed her PhD at the University of Sydney in 2020 and subsequently joined EQUS (the ARC Centre of Excellence for Engineered Quantum Systems) the same year.
