Ben Hankamer

Prof. Ben Hankamer is a renowned scientist with a PhD from Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine, London, UK, completed in 1994. Following his PhD, he held a Postdoctoral Fellowship and Research Lectureship at the same institution.
Since 2002, Prof Ben Hankamer has been a Chief Investigator at the Institute for Molecular Bioscience, The University of Queensland. In 2009, he was honoured as an Eisenhower Fellow. From 2013 to 2015, he received the prestigious ARC Discovery Outstanding Research Award Fellowship.
In 2017, Prof Ben Hankamer became the Director of the Centre for Solar Biotechnology, where he leads pioneering research initiatives in next-generation light-driven biotechnologies.
